Gifts from OJs, parents and friends of the School make a huge difference to life at St John’s. Thanks to your support we are able to offer free and heavily subsidised places to Foundationers and pupils from very low income backgrounds. Your help and support is very important to us and is greatly appreciated.
If you have a preference, you can specify where you would like your donation to be used or it can be directed to the area of greatest need.
We are very grateful to those who choose to make a regular donation to St John’s via direct debit. If you would like to make regular donations please get in touch via email or by calling 01372 231552.
If you would like to make a one-off donation you can do this online here. Alternatively, please get in touch with the Development Office via email or by calling 01372 231552.
Leaving a gift to St John’s in your will has the power to change lives. It is one of the greatest gifts you can make, and is a lasting testimony to your affection for the School. You can choose to direct your bequest to a particular cause, such as bursaries, or may prefer to support buildings or facilities, or to set up a prize or scholarship in your name. Alternatively, you may just wish to support the area of greatest need when your gift is realised. If you would like to discuss a particular bequest, please contact the Development Office via email or by calling 01372 231552.
We appreciate that making a gift in your will is a very personal decision but we hope that you will inform us of your intentions so that we can thank you for your kindness and generosity during your lifetime. In recognition of those who have made a bequest to the St John’s Foundation we have established the 1851 Society. Everybody who has made us aware of their intention to include the School in their will automatically becomes a member and, each year, The Head hosts a special lunch to thank 1851 Society members for their support of St John’s.
